Living A Lie

Losing hope
As time goes by
Every word I speak
Is another lie
I say I am fine
And nothing is wrong
And you believe it
Because I always play along
I'm not really ok
And nothing is fine
But you won't know this
Until another time
When I stop the fake smiles
And you see who I am
You will try to help me
And do all that you can
I may not be happy
But while I'm pretending
I feel some hint
Of the actual feeling
I'll grit my teeth
And grin and bare it
Because I've been living this lie
For too long to share it
