Talking to the moon

by cowgirlstar26   Nov 4, 2005

Shadows casting upon the ground
Her heart is still beating, but it makes a softer sound

The sorrow felt heartache he left her with
started tonight, under the moon's soft kiss

she walks along a rocky path
she stares at the moons shadows, thinking upon the aftermath

The moon cast's down it's reign upon the world
She's hides in it's shadows, this crying little girl

she cries out to the moon ,
then with it's calmness it slowly soothes.....

her darkness sheilded by the moonlight
as long as it's dark, she'll continue this fight

she stops and looks into the sky,
moonbeams fall upon her face
but she doesn't know why

why he would do this, she's only 15
She's too young to face this, for too many things she's seen

another night spent talking to the moon,
maybe one day she'll have a person to love her, but it won't come so soon....
