Wrong Turn

Surrounded by darkness
filled with fear
invisible to the world
the path unclear
confused and wounded
unsure of the way
stumbling off course
you've gone astray
wandering aimlessly
so cold and alone
haven't eaten in days
but don't know the way home
reaching the end
there's no turning back
haw far you have gone
you've seemed to lost track
you then decide
to sit and wait here
throwing your head to your knees
you shed a tear
you've hit rock bottom
left here to rot
nothing to do but ask yourself
"is this the path i fore sought?"
