AND SO IS LOVE

by Gary Jurechka   Nov 5, 2005

I'm still waiting, reaching out,
don't say you can never be mine
it hurts watching you without me
I'm one of them heavy people
haunted by hounds of love,
running up that hill,
all we ever look for---
a few moments of pleasure, room for life,
to be on top of the city
at wuthering heights.

I'm the man with the child in his eyes,
and l'amour looks something like you,
so let's blow away the fog and
walk straight down the middle to us,
we're cloudbursting in the big sky,
dancing the jig of life
to a saxophone song,
we eat the music
in the sensual world
under a constellation of the heart,
we live the dreaming,
breathing, wow,
feel it, the kick inside,
strange phenomena,
this deeper understanding
between a man and a woman
Oh, to be in love,

and why should I love you?

Because you're the one.

So for now I'll go
out into the morning fog,
under the ivy
and dream of sheep,
but never for ever
will this lion heart weaken.

And Love,
I'm still waiting....................

(Note:This piece contains 41 album and song titles
recorded by Kate Bush.)

(Note:This is my variation on \'found poetry\'(which I don\'t really care
for) but titles can\'t be copyrighted and this \'bastardized\' version of
found poetry is more creative and actually requires some thought and
effort, so I did a few pieces using song/album titles of different
bands(some worked, some didn\'t))
