Clueless

by LadyPearl   Nov 5, 2005

So clueless in directions
so clueless in which ways
not enough patience
to know what to say
a sweet child of eight
wandering in eyes
always the one late
with late night's cries
dry up your tears
the day shall arrive
when goodness is near
you shall survive

not knowing what's to come
not knowing when or why
Don't know what's to become
of the secrets that still lie
still clueless in the heart
spread your wings and fly
in things you forgot
now implanted in the sky
In the heart of hearts
in the soul of everyone
you shall never break apart
cause in the end you've won

love and hope you hold
family, friends you have known
in all the stories that's been told
you were the one alone
in your mind you began to realize
the power that you now possess
no matter the age or the size
I believe you will produce nothing less
