Six words

by Emily parsons   Nov 7, 2005

The six words you screamed at me
Sliced through like a knife
It had met my expectations all too well
Yet an ounce of relief , i did not feel

I tried to focus on somthing else
Stare down at my shoes
But nothing can hide the fact i felt sore
Now you wernt even sorry , i hated you more

Id waited for months for us
I gave up my life
Yet somehow i knew it would come crashing down
You looked in my eyes and said "see ya around"

My tears fell down hard
But my face still expressionless
Never again can i fight for this love
Youve left me too broken , now ive had enough

I watched you fade
Out of my life
But the six words you said , theyve left me sore
Wont ever forget that you said \"i dont love you no more\"

*The rainbow isnt always as beautiful as it looks. The rainbow can break you*

The last part is so shattering, makes you realise that even the people you love with all your being can hurt you as much if not more than everyone else
