The Good Men, The Bad Men, and Him

by Bradley Peter   Nov 11, 2005

What were good men meant to do
when the bad men torched the land
as pain and destruction grew
the good men took a stand
they fought for their kids and wives
they fought for what was right
but the bad men took their lives
and ruled their families with delight

with the good men laying in the dirt
the bad men caused destruction
had no thought to who they hurt
they had evil under instruction
but few good men still had breath
and was determined to win the fight
they were willing to fight to the death
and against the bad, they might

then from nowhere a hero appeared
and began slaughtering the men
this hero was widely feared
for he'd won battles again and again
soon the land was once again free
the good men praised the knight
and everything was as it should be
as their hero rode out of sight
