Border Crossing

by Karla Gordon   Nov 13, 2005

Listen to me and what I say
There is a man I love
He is over there
Bring him to me.

Move out of the way
Who are you to decide
Who gets in and out
Just move I say.

Our love is real
The two of us are strong
You will never win
Open the gates, let him in.

You cause a crime
Keeping us apart
Someone arrest them
Move them please.

We cause no harm
Love is all we have
Poor, alone and needing
Just let us be.

You will not win
Fight is what we'll do
True hearts is what we have
Just move and you will see.

His arms are mine
No one else can have
Borders mean nothing
We belong with each other.

God brought us together
He sets the rules
Find your boss and tell him
Hell is what he will see.

With my love I will be
Kill me if you must
He is coming to be with me
Move and let him cross.

Do not test my love
I am not afraid of death
Heaven has a place for us
No borders keep us apart.

He is coming now
My arms are opened wide
Have compassion and some sense
Love will defeat you all.
