Love Thee to Death

by Mistress   Nov 13, 2005

Thine lips touch mine
With the sweetest taste
Thine eyes sparkle
Like a thousand fires
Thou shiver when I caress
Thy skin with my fingertips
Our hearts art beating
Together as one
But thy tears art falling like rain
Rain of sorrow

Thy throat I take grasp
And I can not let go
Thy skin turns pale
Thine eyes art staring cold
Thou know how much I need thee
With every single breath
Thou know how much I love thee
Love thee to death

Hoarfrost on thine blue lips
The spark in thine eyes
Art longe since gone
Thy lifeless skin can not feel
My tender caress
Thy heart is no longer beating
Togehter with mine as one
And thy blood is running like rain
Rain coloured by death

With the dagger I maim thee
I rip thy in-wards apart
Finally I'm close to thee
Finally I'm the ruler of thy heart
Thou know how much I want thee
The closer I get
Thou know how much I love thee
Love thee to death

I'm awake, clear with what I have done
My darling, my beloved is gone
How can I keep on living
Without thee, all alone?
Yet, how did I live with thee
And thy heart of stone?
I would do it all over again
For thee, without regret
Because that's how much I love thee
I love thee to death

Wow, it's a really dark love. You speak of death with love and relating them together. It's like another level of love you're speaking here. It left me thinking for full 10 mins trying to grasp hold of what this poem is trying to express. Though I'm not sure what I've see is what you've been trying to portray, I still enjoy this piece. Please go on writing. =)
