You showed me what love was,
I didn't want you to,
You showed me what pain is,
I didn't want you to,
You showed me a broken heart,
I didn't want you to,
You showed me it takes time to heal,
I didn't want you to,
You showed me lies could save us,
I didn't want you to,
You showed me truth can stab like a million knives,
I didn't want you to,
You showed me everything I hate,
I didn't want you to,
Because now I fear,
I have become all of those things.

    Oy... that was a good one. i especially like your similie about the truth because that is so... well... true! i mean, often times the truth does hurt, but ya know, its for our own good that we know whats wrong. good job on this one! ^.^
