The pain i cause

One by one the lights go out,
I'm returning to the void,
hatred everywhere,
whispering behind,
the pain i cause for others,
the worry and concern,
they'd be better off without me,
be free from me,
no longer held back by my presence,
not constantly being dragged down,
no future I see for me,
but they all have life ahead,
if i was gone,
no longer here,
they would be happy,
be free,
from me.
