Hope In Healing

In the pale dawn light of my life I searched for you
Searching for the one who would complete me
Throughout the uncertain daybreak I kept that ultimate goal in view
And I found you in the eternal cobalt blue of the sea

Through the peak of my life I searched for you
Finding comfort knowing that you would heal my scars
And knowing this, above the world I flew
And found you in the celestial radiance of the stars

In the twilight of my life I will search for you
Eyes raised up in hope that I will catch a glimpse of you standing tall
Of seeing the one who I wished to fall into
And I hope I will find you in the shimmering fiery red beauty of nightfall

Throughout my life I will look for your smile
And all the time, effort and tears will be worthwhile

    That was a really good poem, very touching, and hang in there. I just got my heart broken not too long ago so I know how you're feeling. It's hard.

    My first EVER poem... I'm just feeling kind of down cos I lost my love, and hanging on to the hope that I'll find her again. So yeah, my first poem, be gentle, I know it has more than 10 syllables per line but wanted to say what i feel.
