We've been friends since high school,
Ever since I transferred there.
You befriended the new kid,
Even though not many did.

I started dating someone,
And you gave up on our friendship.

So I gave you another chance.

Six years later, we're still friends,
Still the friends we used to be.
But then I became friends,
With someone I used to know.
