Doesn't always end

It doesn't always end
right where it began
and it hurts me to notice
that you still dont understand

and I went back today
to what it was I knew
and I looked at all those faces
but all I could see was you

I asked myself the question
of what I was doing there
like why did I go back?
and do I really care?

but I noticed a few things
like how I was too late
and whats left of what I want
really isn't all that great

but I guess it's always been that way
and I'm just realizing it now
but I could never tell you
exactly why and how.

    I liked it, nicely done. It was very straight-forward, but I liked how you worded it. It made your poem more interesting, and because you wrote of something so common, it's easy to relate to.
