Let's paint the sky a purple hue
As the sun sets on the day
Stars reflecting my love for you
Our love making the world okay

As the moon rises lighting the night
Long shadows are cast upon the lawn
Holding you makes the world right
Passionately loving until the early dawn

Now our canvass turns blood red
As the sun begins to fill the sky
Holding one another in our bed

The stars are always there

Us lying here without a care
