Khwahish...

Jo chaaha tha, wo mil na saka
jo mila tha wo paa na sake.

jo paa liya, use apna naa bana sake
jo apna na bana wo hamara kya.

jo hamara nahi , us par hak kaisa
jis par hak nahi, usse ummeed kaisi.

agar ummeed nahi to khwahish kaisi
khwahish nahi to chaahat kaisi.

chaahat nahi to pyaar kaisa
pyaar nahi to dard kaisa.

dard nahi to khushi ka ehsaas kya
ehsaas nahi to na hone ka gam kaisa.

nahi hai tabhi to khwaab hai
khwaab hai to ummeed hain.

aur ummeedein sada toota karti hain
aur zakhm diya karti hain........

ek khwahish kab ummeed ban jaaye pata nahi
ye dil hai bus, isme hamari to khata nahi.

    every poem of urs is so different..sometimes so beautifully u describe the importance of happiness and then u come with such a bitter fact embossed with amazing words...wow!! that was right through heart i tell u...
