Poor little fat kid

Song lyrics... and please don't take these the wrong way, they're meant to be brutally honest.

It's a good thing your mommy loves you
Cause she's probably the one who made you how you are
Along with your dad as well
It's no wonder you cried in junior high
When you forgot to bring your lunch
There were phone calls and car trips
And somehow you got your way

This is not because you're fat
And though you joke, it probably hurts more than we'd think
Don't use it as an excuse
It will only make us hate you more

This is because
You moan and you whine and
You aren't four years old
This is because
You just don't understand
And you don't even try
I bet when you end up lonely forever
You'll wonder why

And it comes as no surprise
That you serve yourself before thinking of anyone else
Sadly, it's how you were raised
What's really shocking is how sweet your sister is
Growing up in the same house
I guess she noticed what went wrong with you
And somehow she turned out right

How can you think it's cause you're fat?
Are you that ignorant or has it become your safety?
How can you think you're singled out?
Have you taken a look at our society?

This is because
You swear and you curse
With so-called anger at the world
This is because
It's yourself that you hate
But you take it out on us

I know what you mean. I've grown up with a girl who possessed and acts with similar tendancies. I wonder if she will ever get a clue in life and see that her methods won't work and will enventually trap her in life. I used to try to help her, but she won't listen, so now it is vain to try to get through to her. Good poem.
