I'm Autistic,
I'm not insane,
I'm not sick.

Remember:
"I'm doing my best,
Just like all the rest."

I may cover my ears,
When overwhelmed,
By the noises I hear.

If I'm not able to see....
I may become frightened,
Whenever you touch me.

Try to understand;
I may be afraid and scared,
Please give a helping hand.

I may not be able to talk,
Help me find what to say,
In order to help me stay.

I want to help you,
Understand,
What I'm going through.

Remember:
"I'm doing my best,
