Perfect world, Perfect end

by Lady Vengeance   Nov 23, 2005

Vines of Emerald bind her heart
Golden hair flows free
Walking on the heated sand
Until she meets the sea

Baby blue and purest white
The ocean hugs the shore
Loving embrace of the earth
From crust through to the core

Seagulls float like lost angels
Through the wispy clouds
Cleanest air she's ever breathed
Calm and peaceful sounds

Silky gown of violet shades
Blossoms in her hair
Ribbons tied around her waist
Her skin is pale and fair

First contact with the icy water
Deeper in she wades
Until her body is submerged
Her consciousness now fades

Engulfed in what she didn't know
Consumed by all her fears
Swallowed by the peaceful sea
That she filled with her tears

Perfection is the saddest thing
It leaves more than a mark
Truth seen only through her eyes
And they were always dark

Her beauty is immaculate
Her heart is made of stone
She delved inside that perfect world
But she was all alone

Wow. The language you used to express this chilling tale was absoulutely brillant. I loved the way it flowed, how the rhyming just made it smoother, and your use of vocabulary. This has to be my favorite of yours... just because I'm a Fantasy Gal. Great Job, I thought it was excellent.
