Just a word

by Emily parsons   Nov 24, 2005

Love is just a word
I thought to myself
These feelings inside , that leave me helpless
The letters filled with smiles and rain
The kisses that say you want me again

Everytime you walk in a room
The air smells that much sweeter
Everyday you leave me short of breath
Pondering over the things you said

Love is just a word

The nights where my bed seems far more empty
Than it did the night before
The letters filled with remorse and rain
The kisses that said you hate me again
Hanging onto every word your saying
Understanding both our hearts are breaking
I try to convince myself
That love is just a word

Wow Emily this is a very good poem. Love is just word. Hmm.. very lovely.

So powerful, that out of hopelessness in the end you say: I try to convice myself, love is just a word.
