Falling Stars

by Juls   Nov 25, 2005

Away from the city
So silent and still
I lay in the grass
looking up to something so real

Falling nebula
in the peaceful sky
Me just laying back
on the misty green grass

Watching and counting
as they fly by
One...by...one
They go by
by the moonlit they can be seen
Till the sun rises and time to
start a new found day

The next night
I look up at the sky
and say to myself
No falling nebula to be found

So I sit and wait
for one to be seen
As I wait
I wish upon a star, for that
a falling star would appear

As I lay back in the grass I
close my eyes and then open them to see...
That my wish came true and the stars were unbelievably beautiful
as I went to catch my breath
I smiled at such a beautiful sight

And I hope to enjoy this type of night with a guy some time in my lifetime!

Julie, awsome poem. I loved it. I want to share a moment like that with a girl. Those kinds of moments in life seem to be the most in joyable, when you are loving someone and someone is loving you in return. Anyways good job, keep it up.

    Love ya,
