Rainy nights.

by kida   Nov 28, 2005

Look at the flowers
watch the birds spread there wings
i admire it for hours
camping in the spring

pitch the tent set the fire ablaze
find a creek
the sun so strong theres a haze
but i still enjoy this a heap

camp songs round the fire
time for lights out
my brother is a liar
thats why i ignore his shout.

tents flying open
water hits me hard
the whole ground is sopping
theres gonna be a flood

long gone is the fire
no longer are nights sounds
we better find shelter
on some higher ground

closed are the flowers
birds are not in sight
its gonna rain for hours
this no longer perfect night

the sun finally rises
back to the camp sight
the drive home takes hours
after that rainy night.
