Trapped In Silence

by Jo   Nov 29, 2005

She tries to find a way out,
But the walls of pain are closing in on her.

She tries to speak out,
But no one hears a word.

She tries to grasp (onto) the arms of life,
But her hands slip away.

She tries to hope for a new life,
But knows she's quickly fading.

She tries reaching out for help,
But no one's there around her.

She tries to pray for help,
But none of her prayers are answered.

She tries to scream and to be heard,
But she's trapped in silence forever.
