Farewell

by ScarletHaze   Nov 29, 2005

Another day in the hell hole
people tormenting
there snide remarks
mutterings all around.
she hates it.
all the bullying, all the hate.

she goes home and cries out all the tears she can
then she realises she has none left.
thats when she needs something else.

she sits there and makes a slit so wrong yet so great.
such a pretty red river shouldn't be so alone.
so another slit
two entwining crimson streams.
still it's not enough
so more and more.

her parents call her down to dinner but she doesn't answer.
wondering they walk upstairs and find her lying there.

she couldn't handle it anymore
all the snide remarks
the abuse
so finally she left it all.

but found in her clenched hand a piece of paper
that explained all her life.
every thought and feeling
summarised to this one piece of paper.
and at the bottom just one word farewell
