Invisible

Invisible

People look
straight past the girl
as if she
isn't there.

She lives her life
Invisible
Nobody seems
to care.

Yet don't you know
this girl has been
through just as much
as you.

She's laughed and cried
lived and died
and fought her own
way through.

She's found herself
in moments that
You might not
Understand.

She's seen a world
behind closed doors
been marked with
tainted hands.

Though you may think
that her whole world
is sheltered
and naive,

Behind her eyes,
there is a life
which you will
never see.

This is not meant to be self-pittying, instead I think everyone can relate in some way.
