If You Only Knew

If you only knew the way you make my heart sing and the way the sun in my eyes shines for only you;
the way I lose all sanity and my brain becomes a mass of mushy goo.
If you only knew of the sleepless nights I have just wanting to hold you close to me;
of the rain that falls from the sky of my eyes because we can't forever be.
If you only knew of the time I spend thoughtlessly running pictures of you through my head;
of the moment I pictured your lips meeting mine and my soul's hunger was fed.
I'd race around the moon and zoom through the stars if you only knew,
but I'd float on the wings of the wind to heaven if you felt this way too.
