Mending Heart

I held my heart out to you
We helped each other through
Through good times and bad
It didnt matter, all that mattered was we were there for each other

You were every meaning in my life
but now I see the truth
I was just other girl in your life
What happened to us?
Or was it me or you?

I was just other girl
that you seemed to get bored with
you kicked me down on the ground
You stole my heart
I question if I can ever love again

You walked out of my life
in a quick minute
Just like that
That minute threw out many years
of love and happiness that we had
Now it will take time for my heart to mend back to itself
