Way out?

Built up emotion bursting out from inside,
Killing me slowly, trying to hide.
Fake smile, starts to fade away,
Trying to make it through another day.

Slicing away at pale skin,
All the scars are blending in.
Another breath, quick and sharp,
Another dagger through my heart.

This empty life, dragging on,
Wanting the endless pain to be gone.
Full of hate and full of doubt,
Is this the only way out?
