Why Poetry

Why Poetry you say I do poetry to express myself. To be sure I'm like no one else.

I use my lyrical rhymes to unleash what's inside. I use poetry to wipe out thoughts that hide.

Poetry speaks my mind when i have nothing to say. I get my pen start thinking and writing away.

I can write about love I can write about pain. I can write about anything if I just use my brain.

I'm blessed with this gift from God above. Aside from my girl Poetry's what i love.

It takes a true poet to write about his true feelings. I guess I'm a true poet because I'm writing about mine.

My poetry all real it comes from the heart. That's why you can tell different poets apart.

How do I end something so strong and real. When you read this poem tell me what you feel.
