It's Not A Party If You Never Even Dance

by Stef   Dec 4, 2005

You're going to break his heart; I can see it in your eyes
You waiting for the moment and the perfectly timed goobye
That poor boy; my dear, he loves you and you led him on
You're sympathy is sorely lacking; in fact, it's completely gone.

With the way you bite you're tongue, he'll never even know
Why you're holding on so tight as if you'll never let him go
You kiss him with such force; girl, you've got him good
He's yours and he'll do anything, like you knew he would.

So you pull him to the bedroom, smiling as you close the door
He sits upon the bed; you remain standing on the floor
His expression blank, he whispers "I love you" in the air
You laugh; he gets it now. He knows that you don't care.

You just broke his heart; I can still see it in your eyes
That feeling that you get every time you say goodbye
Because you're finally in control; he never stood a chance
But you just say "Honey, it's not a party if you never even dance."
