My life

I'm walking on this path.
Everybody is telling me that the path is my life.
The only life I have, the only life I should have.
All these faces, smiling, all around me.
Who would know, that they are just masks.
The real people are hiding behind the masks.
Just waiting, waiting for me to fall.
You, you had that mask too, didn't you?
You didn't mean everything you sad!
You never loved me, didn't you?
I'm running, running away, but I'm not getting anywhere.
I can't get away from the truth.
I'm worthless!
I don't mean anything, not to you, not to anyone.
Nobody cares, why should they care?
I've disappointed everyone.
I let you down, but so did you.
