Pixies

by Afraid of the Dark   Dec 9, 2005

Once upon a time,
Like a fairy tale,
One morning i woke up to find,
Three pixies in my mail.

Stomping with my feet,
I tried to shoo away,
The pixies that sat there,
And followed me all day.

When I was at school,
They sat just by my side,
Staring at my face,
Seemingly with pride.

I was the one they followed,
I was their only one,
Who did not try to shoot them,
I did not have a gun.

When people turned to greet me,
They turned away in fear,
Asking "Why to you have three ugly,
Men so near?"

At the end of school,
I could not get a bus,
I did not have the fare,
for all four of us.

I tried to push them off,
Saying "Can you go away now please?
I did not ask for you at all,
Stop clinging to ym knees!"

They held on so closely,
I even lost a shoe,
As the stagecoach doors closed,
All i thought was "Whew!"

When i got back home,
I went to sit upon my bed,
But not to my surpise i found,
Three pixies there instead.
