Struck by lightning

The moment I first saw you
I was stunned by something strong
You made my body act a way
That I used to think was wrong

My words never came out right
I was as nervous as you could be
All I knew was that I wanted you
Thats all that I could see

It took a long time for us
To finally see the truth
You made me laugh and smile too
You sent my heart through the roof

I can't explain the effect you had
To completely alter my life
I guess that is what love is
So will you be my wife
