I Steadily Fall...

A never ending spiral
i descend everyday

wondering when I'll hit the bottom
hoping it's a gentle landing

so as i steadily fall
i remember

i remember the past
the good old days

and with this
i am served

a mixed drink
of pain and happiness

so as i steadily fall
i think

i think about the future
all the days to come

whether many or few
whether happy or sad

and with this
i am served

an appetizer tray
of fear and apprehension

so as i steadily fall
i remember

i remember you
the love we had

and with this
i am served

the main course
of longing and grief

so as i steadily fall
i think

i think of me
the life i have

and with this
i am served

a delicate dessert
of pain and release

i finally hit the bottom

OK i totally love this poem and I'm not sure why i think this is one of the only poems that i feel is finished that i feel is just perfect loll so please i would like to get as much feedback on this poem as i can so please comment i will make sure i comment back

    I can totally see why you feel this poem is finished, cause you had a full course menu! LOL! Sorry that was kinda cheesy. This is really well written. I LOVE the ending! :)
