Little Girl

by Jackie Marie   Dec 11, 2005

Why?
Why do you sit at home,
In your little corner,
And cry?
Is it because,
Your mom yells?
Is it because,
Secrets you cannot tell?
Why is it,
That you always sit alone?
And why is it,
That in public,
No emotions are shown?
Is it because,
You are scared?
Is it because,
Things you are unwilling to share?
Why is it,
That you always frown?
And why is it,
You always seem so "down"?
Little Girl,
Please shed no more tears.
Smile for once.
Get rid of your fears.
Live like you should,
And just have fun.
Because what you haven't realized,
Is that life has just begun.
