Lost in Translation

by rrrrrrr   Dec 12, 2005

I thought one thing, you thought another,
I went one way, you went the other.

I only wanted to be good friends,
You wanted our love to never end.

The bright light that I seek,
Won't even let me take a peek.

To see what lies beyond your innocent smile,
Lets be alone; lets talk for a while.

I can't believe it; I sigh in frustration
All along we were just lost in translation.

And the site doesn't mess up the poems. It is when the poem is copied and pasted onto here/ It messes up characters such as commas or a apostraphes.

Actually if people don't write comments it is your own fault. People like getting comments from other people (obviously). So common sense says the more comments your write to other people the more comments you will get. It pays to remember that.
