I Found You First

by Ixora   Dec 12, 2005

I spoke the words but never gave a thought
To what they could mean
I watched my life pass by
But couldn’t comprehend what I’d seen

You wont find me
You’ll get what you deserve
Wrists cleared so you can scar again
Blood and crust on every curve

They’ve grown fine inside you
These demons I set free
This f u c king pain I gave you
Now you’re the one that’s crazy

I wont be broken anymore
Sweet boy now its your time
Smile here’s a blood filled razor
Write me one last rhyme

I’ve finally found a state of pure numbness
Forgetting all the s h i t we said
Now I need you- like water in my lungs
I need you- like a bullet through my head

It’s not my place to save you
It’s not yours to give anymore
I won’t take what you wont give
And you’ve given too much before

Since I’m dead you can die too
And you can quench this f u c king thirst
They all want a piece of you
But godammit I found you first

This is going to sound so weird but...It was so good I feel like throwing up. That's a good thing though. It was so deep. I think I'm going to cry. I think this is the best poem I've ever read!

I really like that poem, but then again I hate it. I mean it's great, and it's full of soo much passion, and pain, and it made me feel horrible for what i did to someone, and I wish i could spend the rest of my life making it up to him, but it's just too late...
