Tears In The Paint (Part III)

by ratchild666   Dec 12, 2005

Unable to stop
These thoughts unveiled
By my laughing beast
With a forked tail

Sinking down
With the pallete held high
Dont stop painting
I have to try

Hand starts to shake
To outside the chalk
Drips of paint spill
Were I walked

Let it out
And then im free
This is what
It means to me

Tears spill
Down my cheek
Continue to paint
Now at my peak

Another strength
Takes its hold
Brush strokes even
And big and bold

Looking down
To dip my brush
This time feeling
A different rush

Paint on my palette
Blood red still
But salty tears
Slowly fill

Use my brush
To mix them all
And spread it out
Across the wall

Smile as I
Create my art
Including this
Emotional part

Tears invisible
As it dries
I wipe a sleeve
Across my eyes

On my pallete
The colours swirl
The secret story
Of this girl

Now I've come to end of this poem, though it reflects something sad, I was hoping this poem can go on and on. Very powerful poem there, like I've said, you bring me in to it and feel through it. Very well written. The ending strikes me hard, you filled these words with great sadness and pain. What a ride this is. =) Thanks for your kind comments on my poems.

    Tears invisible
    As it dries-

I like that best. Tears are this huge thing. Its so painful, then theyre gone and there is nothing to show for it.
