Jigsaw

by Jenny Sys   Dec 12, 2005

So you start your life,
And it's set out all ready,
You're told to do it right,
And told to do it steady.

But within one night,
The puzzle of your life can break,
You find yourself lonely,
And relationships at steak.

So the jigsaw has come undone,
You try to put it back in one,
You have almost done it all,
You have all pieces but one.

You fight to get it right,
You rush along to do it quick,
And when you think it's all gone,
You almost end up to quit.

One day you see the puzzle,
Laying there upon the floor,
You try one more time,
But throw it against the door.

You then see beneath the door,
The puzzle all in one piece,
Lying there as a whole how you wanted,
Now you can live in peace.

The puzzle is different,
It no longer looks the same,
You think you may need to start over,
Like life is some kind of game.

And then you think of your life,
And how it's changed over time,
The picture has also changed,
But still looks fine.

It's different but good,
Some pieces have been replaced,
You made me whole,
When my life had been un-laced.
