The person inside of me

The person inside of me
is someone you try not to see

You look at me and judge me then and there
and with that your being a little unfair

Being myself is not a crime
although trying to understand me may take some time

I do things my own way
trying not to care about what others do or say

It's something not many people do
so come on, take a step in my shoes

It seems you don't like me or your holding a grudge
but, now that you've taken the time to get to know me and taken a step in my shoes
it's your turn to judge.
