The Shower Of Pain

I step into the shower, and close the curtain fast
I let go of the day, and the love that didn't last

Water falls upon my shoulders and the heat rushes down
Lord wash away my troubles, let them fall to the ground

There's just no way to keep the two of them apart

I lean back and let it all sink in
The water pours down and I cry again

Lord take this pain and release it from me

A small waterfall in my own place
A little piece of paradise I'll never erase

Behind the curtain, I hide from the rest of the day

The water, it falls and my body thirsts
