Finally Whole

by LOVE.ME.HATE.ME   Dec 15, 2005

Have mercy on my pitiful soul,
Let me live, die.
I am no longer whole.
The world's just passing me by.
Stupidity took it's toll.

Have mercy, please.
Just let me go.
Let me live me in peace.
I won't say no.
Please, please.

Let me cut my wrists,
Let me jump, die.
I'll be happy in those fiery pits.
I'll never mourn, cry.
I'll never take painful hits.

My eyes, they burn,
My cries, are unheard.
Watch me, and learn.
Listen to my every word.
Tomorrow, it may be your turn.

Have mercy on my useless mind,
Have mercy on my restless soul.
My pain, no one will ever find.
Now I am, finally whole.

I really enjoyed this. I'm not quite sure what it is, maybe it's that each stanza has a nice beat to it in my mind, and that you seem to rhyme pretty well in the right places, but this was quite a good read. Keep it up! 5
