Old Love Holding Back

I see you with her,
and I say that I don't care.
But deep down, you know I do,
to know that we're no longer a pair.

The rides at the carnival,
the football games we went to.
We had too much fun to forget it all,
but I guess it was easy for you!

It didn't take long
to forget about me
You moved on fast
apparently.

Why is it taking me so long,
to forget about my love for you?
I never thought it'd be this hard,
my heart's stuck to you with glue.

I pray I move on quickly
it's been three months since then,
a new man has come into my life,
but I'm scared to get hurt again.

    Hun =( I'm sorry you are so confused right now... you can't force yourself to like chad, though. That's rebounding, and it's making it worse in the longrun trust me. Just give it more time, I know that you think you've given it enough but you need to give it more. I've been giving two years of time, still waiting to see what's going to happen and now things are starting to get good. So even though it may take a while, trust me, whats meant to be will happen. Sorry if this is lame advice... but this is a fantastic poem hun
