The Frozen/Pollinated Chronology

by Aidyn   Dec 16, 2005

To know that none
That know that some
Are gone, and no one found...
I stand without
A thoughtful doubt
In a place bereft of sound...
The shadow lies
'Twixt earth and skies
A captured vapour cloud...
I can feel
My hand unreal
A caustic comfort shroud...
No place I see
No barren lea
To catch my frigid love...
But then I sigh
My arms held high
To receive naught of above...
The shadow wakes
The sonic shakes
The fabric gone to tatters...
This shadow finds
Parallel binds
The mirror harshly shatters...
And I destroy
What I employ
And life a sing-song dagger...
No harder I try
So there I lie
And get up, walk, and stagger...
The music stings
The choir sings
Notes I resist and falter...
But now I lie
I cannot die
On the sacrificial altar...
Though now I wait
For some, too late
The seconds, addictive pollen...
Fate's tree's seeds
Have paid no heed
To the cursed place I've fallen...

I'm sorry...it's time to advertise---

This is a part of my series, "The Fallen"

The Misjudged

This is one of the most aesthetically-pleasing pieces i've read from you -- it appeals to the ears especially, not only through the verses aluding to that eerie music but with its flow through the most original rhymes i've read in quite some time (and we get poems *everyday* in Lit class) ^_^ ...i bite my thumb at you, sir! you and those virtuoso talents of yours!
