Ode To My Love

by Cuddles   Dec 16, 2005

Goodbye to the smiles and the laughter.
Goodbye to happily ever after.
Goodbye to the joys and the fun.
Goodbye to the warmth of the sun.
For I won't feel the heat after you're gone.
I'll curl up inside my shell, forever cold and alone.
I'll go through the motions of everyday life, not really wanting to live.
I may find someone new later, but my heart I won't be able to give.
So once again goodbye to the times we shared.
Nothing in this world can ever compare
to the moments when we were together.
I promise to cherish them forever.
