Why Me?

You were the one I always liked,
You were the one I would fall in love with,
You were the one I would always desire,
But now it\'s all just a myth.

Why did you treat me so harshly,
Why did you have to look at her,
Why, with her, did you dance,
Now it\'s just like all this is a blur.

I wish I could change my looks,
I wish I could change my personality,
I wish I could change my past with you,
Altogether, I wish I had a better mentality.

I feel as if I am all alone in this world,
Now that you chose her over me,
I guess I finally saw the truth,
The the two of us could never be.
