Go Now

by Rachel   Sep 9, 2006

Barely breathing and slowly dying,
We all dealt without the crying,
With that machine breathing for you,
It made me want to die too.

You've had a wonderful life,
Many kids and a wonderful wife,
So go be with her now,
You made the vow.

You said it yourself that you were going,
Going to a place with golden rivers flowing,
Go to the place with the Almighty Creator,
For that place is far more greater.

You will be loved and you will be missed,
This is just life's one final twist,
It's nothing to be scared of,
Because the One you are going to see is full of love.

I work in a nursing home and this is to a guy who I got really close to and is about to pass away...and in another way, for those that are gone and have yet to leave us...let me know what you think, it'd mean a lot to me!!!
