The Prayer

Give me this, give me that
Lord give me something that I lack

Free me from the demons seeking my soul
Help me Lord to regain control

Guide me in this thing I am doing
Lord help me confront this storm that's brewing

I feel Your clarity coming into my mind
I feel the touch of the Holy Spirit, so kind

Lord give me the power, the gift of insight
Arm me with your weapons that I might win this fight

The most powerful weapon you gave me I must say,
is the weapon to kneel down on my knees and pray.

    Thank you for the comment. Do you know of the armor of God? It is one of the few things that I never forget to wear. one of the most important peices though is prayer, the helmet the only peice that can protect your head is prayer because only through preyer can we gain the wisdom to know how to defend our thoughts and do as God asks.
