Self Sworn Enemy

Self Sworn Enemy

I bleed black tears,
leaving stains on your pillow.
The darkness in my heart,
will consume you whole.

I send frost bitten shivers,
down your spineless back.
To slow your heart down,
to a beat worth playing.

Kisses of poison,
at the tip of my tongue.
I spread to your lips,
right to your heart.

With bitter sweet after tastes,
and drunken side effects.
Everything goes blurry,
and you begin to see.

Waltz your way down,
a dark and lonely road.
Find the buried treasure,
I once called hope.

Now with the key,
you hold between your fingers.
Leave imprints on my neck,
that suffocate my breathing.

A slow and painful death,
give life a new meaning.
All you ever knew was a lie,
and I was the truth.
