Life

There is a story deep inside
I want to tell it but instead I hide
I want the world to know I'm alive
I want a true love by my side
What am I missing what can't I see
Is it the world or is it just me

I have so much, I want to give
I want to love, I want to live
I want to dream and laugh out loud
And don't want to be just a face in the crowd
How do I live when it's just me
When my dreams are bigger than the sea

Is there much that I can do
Besides living my life until it's through
Never quit and never give up
I cannot pass from this cup
I need to look back deep inside
And answer the question of why I hide

It must be from some unknown fear
But it's not at all what I want to hear
Its a risk and a stand I must take
It has to be me and cannot be fake
I look to God to show me the way
And help me make it another day
